This article is great. It addresses a problem I always have with comics in that, a lot of the stories have gone on so long that you’re missing out on a lot of the canon. I read and loved Whedon’s Astonishing X-Men, but was super bummed that I had missed out on all the story that happened previous. It’s overwhelming and frustrating and a big reason why a lot of people don’t come to comics as new readers. Ali has great advice for us, so read!!
